Wow, how time flies! How is it the middle of the month already?!
Well, it's time to post your scripture memory verse #4.
How have you been doing on continuing to remember the first 3 you've worked on? I'm finding it's getting a little bit tricky to say each one right after the other, but I know that the more I study them the better I'll remember them long term.
I've been using an iphone app to look at the verses on my phone when I'm out somewhere and have a few minutes to spare. Since I have to type them into the app, that's one more time I'm writing it out. I keep each verse in a small spiral notebook too, and I say them to a friend when we meet every other week.
What about you? What has been working to keep your memory verse fresh in your mind and in your heart?
Looking forward to seeing your posts for your next verse.
Love to you all!
Laura

"Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone."

ReplyDeleteJohn 14:27 NIV
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
Besides reviewing my scriptures in the early morning, I also go over them during the night when I wake up. I wasn't very successful last night in saying all of them so checking them was the first thing I did when I got up today!
Good for you Carolyn and Laura. I only had 2 so far because I goofed on the one I submitted, but I try to review them whenever I have time.
ReplyDeleteMy first Isaiah one was confirmed after I wrote it in, I got something in the mail the next day with the same verse on it and then I saw a cap with the Isaiah 40:31 and bought it for Isaiah.
Since I am studying Isaiah in my BSF class, I decided to use another Isaiah verse. It is 43:25 "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake and remembers your sins no more.
Good luck to you two. Love you, Kath
